New book; The 27s - The Greatest Myth of Rock & Roll

Kurt Cobain commands an important position in a forthcoming book titled The 27s The Greatest Myth of Rock & Roll.

The book begins and ends with Kurt and places him in the context of 27s who include Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Pete de Freitas of Echo & the Bunnymen, Rolling Stones' Brian Jones, D. Boon from the Minutemen, original Stooges bass player Zander, Seattleites Kristin Pfaff of Hole and Mia Zapata of the Gits, and two dozen others.

Published winter 2008 the 224-page book created by Josh Hunter and Eric Segalstad looks and reads quite unlike anything else out there. Packed with original artwork on every page, it's a roaring saga about rock & roll seen through the lives and legacies of the enigmatic 27s.
