Hit So Hard - in theatres April 13; trailer now available

A trailer has been released for the documentary Hit So Hard. It opens in theaters and on VOD on April 13th.

The film tells the story of Patty Schemel, drummer for HOLE, and using her never-before-seen personal video recordings, gives an amazing look into the grunge and alternative scene of the early 90's and the people behind it. Among the incredibly intimate footage is video of Kurt and Courtney performing an unreleased song they wrote!

The film features interviews with Hole (Patty Schemel, Courtney Love Cobain, Eric Erlandson, and Melissa Auf der Maur), Roddy Bottum (Faith No More/Imperial Teen), Nina Gordon (Veruca Salt), Kate Schellenbach (Luscious Jackson/Beastie Boys), Gina Schock (The Go-Go's), Debbi Peterson (The Bangles) and Sarah Vowell.

From the press release: "HIT SO HARD is not only an all-access backstage pass to the music that shaped a generation, but a harrowing tale of overnight success, the cost of addiction, and ultimately, recovery and redemption."

I had a chance to watch the film last summer in L.A. and was blown away by all the previously unseen Cobain footage. The film was great! Check out the trailer below:
