Whrrl - new site puts Nirvana on the map
Whrrl, a mobile location-based service, is working with the Experience Music Project and Max’s Kansas City to bring rock ‘n’ roll history into the real world. They have now documented a variety of places important to the rise of Nirvana in Seattle, and not only told the stories, but attached them to real places. So people can cruise around town, telling Whrrl where they are, and provide them with Nirvana history.
