Dave Grohl in a brand-new side project

Over the past month or so, Dave Grohl, formerly of Scream, Nirvana, and the Foo Fighters, had been secretly recording some material with John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin on bass and mandolin, as well as Josh Homme of Queens Of The Stone Age on guitar and vocals. That new project has been announced as Them Crooked Vultures. This new formation have recently been playing some secret shows overseas. More info on their official website can be found here. To give a little bit more background to this, John Paul Jones played mandolin and piano, as well as Josh Homme played guitar on a few tracks on the excellent In Your Honor album - by the Foo Fighters.
