Viretta Park revisited
Members of the Nirvana tribute band Nevermind from Chicago made a trip to the Seattle-area last month to visit the various 'Nirvana-sites'.
The visit included a stop by Viretta Park, the small haven next to the former home of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love. The park was famous for being a gathering place for Nirvana fans paying their respects, and many fans would leave their messages on a bench in the park. Apparently, the old bench has now been removed (including all the messages from Nirvana fans) and a new one was put up.
Below you can see some pictures of the new bench - courtesy of J and The Ultimative Nirvana Tribute Band, Nevermind. Check out their MySpace page here for more pictures.
