A Day of Indie Rock on WNYC "Soundcheck"

Don't miss Soundcheck (daily music talk show on WNYC New York Public Radio) this coming Wednesday, October 3rd where they will have three interesting events on the show:

1. A new Kurt Cobain documentary is being released. It is being called the closest thing to an autobiography. We speak with the 2 men behind About A Son, author Michael Azzerad and director A.J. Schnack.

2. British punk group, The Mekons are celebrating their 30th Anniversary this year. They will be on live to discuss their legacy as one of the survivors of the first-wave punk era.

3. Finally, the Brooklyn band, My Teenage Stride has been compared to The Smiths and The Chills, among others. They will be live in studio to perform tracks from their latest album, Ears Like Golden Bats.

Soundcheck airs live Monday through Friday at 2 PM on 93.9 FM in and XM Satellite Radio. You can also listen online at WNYC.org where all shows are archived and available as podcast.
