NFC News Smells Like Teen Spirit voted #1 in Australia
Teen Spirit was voted number 1 all time song on Australia's largest youth radio station JJJ recently.

They have a poll broadcast each year on Australia Day called JJJ hottest 100. Teen Spirit has made it three times. It probable would have been in more but they decided to limit the competition to tracks released in that year.

JJJ claims that it is the world's largest music poll with over half a million votes each year - 800.000 in 2008.

NFC News Nirvana in new Guitar Hero game
A Nirvana song will be included with the upcoming game Guitar Hero 5:

Guitar Hero today confirmed another 22 rockin' tracks which will be featured on Guitar Hero® 5's massive 85-song on-disc set list.

From the jamming sound of Elton John’s glamorous “Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)” to the classic, never before released live recording of “Lithium” from grunge rockers Nirvana; multi-platinum, rock ‘n’ roll legends The Rolling Stones’ “Sympathy For The Devil” to the southern rock beats of My Morning Jacket’s “One Big Holiday,” the game features the widest variety of today’s rock hits and classic tunes from some of the biggest names in music. Numerous bands are also making their music video game debut, including Elton John, Face to Face, Rammstein and The White Stripes.


The game will be released on September 1.
